We have been praying for Carol for many years. Her two sisters attend our church and have offered her up in prayer every week. She has really struggled and has been far from the Lord for a long time.

Her sisters asked the pastors wife to pray for her as they were going over to her house because she was in a crisis. Drinking alcohol and having suicidal thoughts, she was in despair. Her sisters prayed over her. They asked the Lord to save her soul.

They left her and met the pastor’s wife at the church where they prayed intensely, together as a sisterhood, that she be raised back to life as Lazarus was.

The next Saturday she surprised us all and showed up at the tent book discussion. She also came the following Sunday to the morning service. She has rarely missed a service or book discussion since.

She said she felt so loved and accepted in our church family. We included her in everything. She realized she has a heart to serve. She has repented of her sins and has asked Christ into her heart, to be her Lord and Savior.

She is a perfect example of “Belonging Before Belief”. She has been at most services and most Tent book discussions, and is following Jesus as closely as she can.

Praise the Lord that Carol will also be getting baptized this November.
